In this article we analyse the special link between migration and innovation. In particular, this article aims to understand better the role of skilled migrants in the innovation processes and consequently introduce the definition of “migration gain” for the innovation (first section) and to analyse the role of migration policies that can affect this “migration gain” and the consequent phenomenon of “Brain Competition” (second section).
